Arlen Dean
Arlen Dean’s research focuses on data-driven decision-making in complex and uncertain environments, with a particular emphasis on healthcare. In this domain, his work addresses challenges in hospital operations and medical decision-making. Beyond healthcare, he also studies problems in revenue management, including pricing and inventory management for online markets. A central theme of his research is how AI and algorithmic tools should be positioned and designed to better support human decision-makers and organizations.
