Business of Health Innovation 2027 Award

Recognizing the work and ideas that can shape Olin’s impact on health and healthcare.

The Olin Business of Health Innovation Award celebrates members of the Olin community who are advancing health through business and invites ambitious ideas for how Olin can make an even greater impact.  While many business schools engage in work related to health and healthcare, this award seeks to further develop Olin’s unique emphasis in the field.

Faculty, alumni, and current students are invited to submit work or ideas that demonstrate meaningful contributions to health and healthcare or create new opportunities for Olin to lead, influence, and contribute to the field.

Submissions may highlight accomplishments or propose new ideas in areas including:

  • Initiatives that strengthen the health innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem
  • Efforts connecting business, health policy, and practice
  • Ideas for expanding health-focused education at Olin, in and beyond the classroom
  • New opportunities for convening, thought leadership, and public engagement
  • Programs and partnerships that extend Olin’s reach and connections
  • High-impact academic research

Have an idea for something Olin should be doing in health? We want to hear it.

Proposals for new initiatives should describe the idea, why it matters, the role Olin could play, and its potential to create meaningful impact.

A panel of Olin Business School faculty members will select best ideas.

Prize: The winning submission will be awarded $15,000 and two runners up will receive $5,000 each.
