Fall WashU Olin | The Atlantic Business of Health Event: (October 15, 2025)

The fall event included a half-day summit exploring how medical breakthroughs — especially in complex fields such as neurological disease — can move from discovery to real-world impact at scale. From translational science to public-health innovation and biotech entrepreneurship, this event examined the crucial handoffs between research, implementation, and commercialization.

Hosted by WashU Olin and The Atlantic, the summit brought together top minds from academia, industry, policy, and investment to confront a central challenge: How do we close the gap between discovery, implementation, and impact?
